The Rise

“Arise !”

Certain strange correspondences in the work of Saunière suggest that he had an interest in magic. Do the events of the bible, specifically the raising of Lazarus and the role of Mary Magdalene, play a role in this ?

January 17: the feast of Wagy

January 17 is the central date of mystery in the affaire of Rennes-le-Château. Though many have searched for understanding in Catholic associations with some saints, perhaps we need to look more towards Egyptian magic and its calendar to understand the true significance the date may have had.

The papal triumvirate: de Perillos, de Luna & Ferrer

In the early 15th century, pope Benedict XIII, together with the Spanish preacher Vincent Ferrer and his advisor Ramon de Perillos were a veritable centre of power, in Perpignan, that directed the Christian world.

The secret popes

After the removal of pope Benedict XIII from the papal office, Pedro de Luna did not "retire". Instead, he instigated a line of successors, alternative popes, whose survival seems to have continued into the 20th century. Was there a special bond between these popes and the secret of Perillos?

The Marian Era

The visions of the "Virgin Mary" at rue du Bac in Paris is the first of a series of apparitions that heralded in the "Marian Era". It is clear that Saunière was deeply interested in these events. Far better known are the apparitions at La Salette and Fatima, where the messages of the Virgin were deemed to be "secrets". Since then, most of the secrets have been revealed. But what they teach us, is both intriguing and disturbing... specifically and it seems to fall within the framework of the mystery of Saunière. For that our favourite priest was deeply involved with and surrounded by people with a Marian interest, is a matter of record. The question: coincidence, or design?

Of a Roman Christ and the Prophecy of Isaiah

Was Jesus Roman? It seems a strange question and the answer suggests a "no". Still, when we take into account the legendary voyages of Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus to Celtic-Roman countries, the question suddenly opens up a new dimension.

The Origins of Christianity

No history handbook still clings to the notion that Judaism was the origin of Christianity. This does not prevent these same historians from acknowledging not to know the birthplace of the Jewish people. The most insane speculations run on this subject, but the mystery remains. Isaac Ben Jacob reveals certain key material that tries to establish a common origin for the Romans, Greeks and Jews. These historical “coincidences” make it possible that Christianity could originate from within the Roman people.

666 = Satan’s Song?

In the Netherlands, Karl Hammer-Kaatee's Satan's Song set the world of Rennes researchers alight with intrigue. In part 1, we provide the basic set-up of the story. In part 2, we begin to investigate the theft of the Just Judges and its potential links to Otto Rahn. In part 3, the role of the Nazis in this theft is further explored. In part 4, the Arma Christi and its protectors, the Ebionites, are identified as members of the penitential movement. In part 5, some of the people in the intelligence community implicated are identified. In the final part, we look at the finale of the book, which is set in Rennes-le-Château.
